We are so happy to be back to shooting weddings like old times (with COVID regulations of course). On April 1, 2021, we had our first big wedding of the year celebrating Samantha and Burak, and what a fantastic day it was! Samantha and Burak have been together for ten years and had plans to be married in July 2020, but, like most couples, had chosen to postpone their wedding to 2021. These two had been waiting forever for this day and even with masks, COVID tests, and dancing squares, it was worth the wait!

After getting ready, we headed to de Severky Mansion for Samantha & Burak’s portrait session. We truly enjoyed shooting at this location. The estate offers so much charm and luxury making it the perfect place to take your wedding portraits.

Then we made our way to Larkfield for a few more photos and of course the ceremony and reception! Larkfield is a picturesque venue that brings the romance of Tuscany to Long Island; with grand ballrooms and stunning gardens we had a photo opportunity everywhere we went. Both de Severky Mansion and Larkfield are so elegant!

We streamed Samantha & Burak’s ceremony (which was so beautiful and emotional) through our streaming services so that guests who were unable to attend could still be there in some way. Shortly after that, it was time to party! Guests had so much fun celebrating the newlyweds, dancing, using our photo booth, and enjoying the belly dancer!

Samantha and Burak’s wedding was a blast and a fantastic start to the return to big weddings. We can’t wait for what this year brings us!
