It’s been a while since we’ve written about how much we love the Bourne Mansion. As Long Island wedding photographers and videographers, we’ve had the opportunity to capture many weddings at this memorable, unique, and elegant venue. The mansion is ideally situated in Oakdale, NY. It is a central location for your Long Island guests, only 90 minutes from New York City, and only 15 minutes from MacArthur Airport for out-of-state guests Aside from its prime location, the Bourne Mansion offers a traditional and classic setting featuring stunning landscapes, an expansive central foyer with a sweeping staircase, a one of a kind ballroom with ornate architecture, crystal chandeliers, and a large portico.

We love this venue in particular because of the timeless elegance it possesses; the classic interior provides a lot of “flavor” to the aesthetics of your photo and film while also giving you a sense of history. Beautiful moments during the sunset can be captured on the back terrace during cocktail hour while the soothing light slowly sets towards the front of the mansion and gives way to a night of emotional outpours and good times (and good food!). 

On October 29, 2022, we were so happy to be back at the Bourne Mansion to celebrate Elise and Marc. These two had the most stunning day and their love for each other shined.
