Here are our top five favorite spots in New York City (plus Jersey City!) for engagement sessions:
Gantry Park, Long Island City
Located on the East River, this park offers stunning views of the Manhattan skyline, as well as a variety of unique and interesting backgrounds for photos. Whether it's the industrial feel of the nearby gantries or the lush greenery of the park itself, Gantry Park is a versatile location that always delivers beautiful results.
DUMBO, Brooklyn
Another great spot for engagement photos in NYC is Dumbo, short for Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass. An honorable mention even though it’s outside of NYC (but has the city views!) is Liberty Park. Located on the Jersey City waterfront, this park offers incredible views of the Manhattan skyline, as well as the Statue of Liberty. The park's large lawn and varied landscapes make it a perfect place for a variety of different shots.
